Description

The Samsung Galaxy Note 8 is slightly taller and heavier than the S8+, but simply feels better built and more solid in your hand. The 6.3-inch Quad HD+ display is gorgeous and produces excellent contrast. You can use it to create hand-drawn GIFs, translate words, and search the web with Bixby Vision. This phone is powerful too thanks to the Exynos 9 Octa SoC and 6GB of RAM. The dual rear cameras are a first for the company and let you do things like Live Focus, which adds a pleasing bokeh effect behind your subject. The main sensor delivers excellent detail, both in daylight and at night. Battery life could have been better and we struggled to get a full day’s worth of usage out of each full charge.

The Note 8 has a dual-camera setup which is entirely non-essential yet extremely fun to use, while the stylus is certainly useful for many. Meanwhile, the S8+ has an easier-to-hold design and a larger battery at 3500mAh, which for many people will be the difference between making it through a full day of heavy usage and having to dig out the battery pack at 9pm. If its extra pen and camera features interest you, the Note 8 is undoubtedly a decent buy if you can stomach learning how to use power-saving modes.

After having my ZTE lever for 6 years it was time for an upgrade. So I did a lot of searching, researching and looking over reviews for new smartphones in my price range. Family members had the Samsung a50 and it was a nice phone but then I seen the a51. Since I’m the type to keep a phone till it dies or is no longer supported by any apps i did thorough research on both. I like the a51 because it had the newest Android 10 which gave me an extra year of updates plus it has twice the amount of memory. Which is something that is very important since the apps take up so much much room with every update. It is pretty much the same as the a50 but a little bit bigger camera, more memory, and a little bit larger in size. So far it takes great photos. Since I’ve only had the ZTE lever, compared to that they are awesome. I only play a few small games so I don’t know how well it will play the big ones like Xbox has. It does everything I need it to do, plus more I sure I dont know about yet. The only downside I have found is it only has one speaker on the bottom. But it doesn’t sound to bad but I use headphones mostly because of hearing problems and that the phone is super slick so a good case is a must have. I’m sure there are better phones out there but for the price I couldnt pass it up especially when it went on sale cheaper than the a50. I hope it will last me just as long as my lever if not longer. I also got the unlocked US version so I can take it to any carrier I want. But if you are a person who travels alot it has room for 2 sim cards with room for expandable memory.See more

This phone broke in 23 days. Screen quit functioning and the camera is not what it is touted to be. Does not focus well and it is just a cheap phone. Out of the month and a half that I have owned the phone, I have only got to use it for 23 days because of failure.See more
